What is the Creditinfo CRB widget on the Kamoa App?

The Creditinfo widget is a tool within the Kamoa App that gives you easy access to your credit information, including your credit score and any credit listings associated with your name

How do I access the Creditinfo widget for the first time?

Download the Kamoa App and register. From the menu, browse products and select Creditinfo solutions. Choose the service you need, then follow the prompts to verify your identity and access your credit information

Why do I need to verify my ID number?

Verification helps ensure your credit information is secure and only accessible by you. It protects you from unauthorized access.

What does “no adverse listing” mean?

It means there are no negative records such as unpaid loans or defaults linked to your credit profile—a good sign for your financial reputation.

Is there a cost to use the widget?

Yes, cost is pegged on the solution you are requesting. Each solution has a cost to it and is indicated when you choose the solution.

Can I use the Mini-App more than once?

Yes, you can check your credit status, score, and report periodically. However, your score may not change frequently unless your borrowing behaviour or repayment patterns change.

Will the mini-app show updated information each time I log in?

The credit data reflects the latest information received from lenders. Updates depend on when financial institutions report new data to the credit bureau. Financial institutions are mandated to share credit information with the credit bureaus by the 10th of every month. Credit information is, however, updated daily when changes are made at the bank and updated to your credit report.

How can I track changes in my credit score over time?

Returning users can monitor trends by noting their score during each visit. For detailed tracking, a full credit report may be helpful, and a record is stored under the purchases section available at the home page area within the Creditinfo mini App.

I’ve improved my credit behaviour—why hasn’t my score changed yet?

Credit scores update based on lender reporting cycles. It may take some time for positive activity (e.g., repayments) to reflect in your score.

My information looks incorrect—what should I do?

If you notice any errors, you can raise a dispute through the Creditinfo website or contact their customer support directly for assistance.

Can the Mini-App help me improve my credit score?

While the Mini-App doesn’t directly change your score, it empowers you with visibility into your credit status so you can make informed, credit-smart decisions.
